Instructor: Heather Melo
Hi! My name is Heather Melo, and I’m a mom and a math teacher! I’ve been teaching algebra and trigonometry at UVU since 2007 and homeschool algebra since 2022! I love hiking in the mountains, playing games and traveling with my family, music, baking, and playing sports! I also served a proselyting mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Santa Maria, Brazil. When I was in the third grade I discovered my love for math and helping others understand it! I hope to inspire a similar love and respect for learning in all of your children!

Hi! My name is Mindi Eldredge. I'm a former elementary teacher turned homeschool mom. I have three beautiful children and a wonderful husband. I love all things related to learning and education. I'm also a curriculum developer and writer. I have previously created math and science curriculum for The Good & the Beautiful homeschool curriculum. Two years ago I founded The Mindful Heart homeschool curriculum company. I love developing and creating curriculum, and I love to teach! I'm excited to teach the Investigations and the Creative Writing & Design class for the 2023-2024 school year.
