Heart & Soul Time

• Language Arts: Develop language arts skills as you discover the stories of explorers, pilgrims, and other American settlers through rich literature, poetry, scripture, audio recordings, videos, note-taking, and more.
• History: Learn about exploration and colonial life  in the United States.
• Art: View art depicting explorers, pilgrims, and other scenes of the time period.
• Music: Sing hymns and folk songs. Learn about and listen to music by Joseph Haydn.
• Mapping: Map the voyages and colonies of the 1600s.

• Language Arts: Read and listen to fables. 
• History: Read and listen to stories of exploration and colonization.
• Science: Read creative stories, play games, and participate in hands-on activities about biomes, ecosystems, and habitats.
• Math: Explore geometry and spatial reasoning through stories, activities, and games.
