The Mindful Heart follows a heart-first philosophy of education, cultivating an environment that helps develop in each child a deep love of God, strong family relationships, and a genuine love of learning. This approach recognizes that children thrive when they feel connected, valued, and inspired. It also honors the importance of meeting diverse learning styles—engaging not only the mind, but the hands and the heart through meaningful, hands-on experiences.
Within each collection, learning is centered around a rich historical focus, with language arts, science, and math thoughtfully integrated into the study of each time period. Rather than being taught in isolation, these subjects come alive through meaningful context, helping children make deeper connections and retain what they learn.
Fine art, music, and time in nature are not extras, but essential elements that awaken creativity and wonder. Academic subjects are woven together and taught through the lens of the gospel of Jesus Christ, helping children see truth, beauty, and purpose in all they study. As parent-educators, we can intentionally create this kind of rich, faith-centered environment, and The Mindful Heart curriculum is designed to support and guide families who desire to educate in this deeply connected and holistic way.
